The Christmas Tree is dead. It has been dead for about a week and there are still 6 days until Christmas. We have decided it should come down. We are writing a letter to Santa so he will know where to put our presents. Totally bummed. Did you read about our trip to the Tree Farm? It was fantastic. This is not. The question of whether or not to get a fake tree came up (after Christmas when its at least 50% off of course). Could we really pull our tree out of a box? Would it be the same? For us the answer was no. Picking out a live tree has so much meaning and is an incredibly rewarding family experience. This year we will be taking down our tree before Christmas. I am going to figure something out...hopefully it will be super cute and I will start some fantastic Christmas tree alternative. I can't just pack up the Darth Vader and Sleeping Beauty ornaments before Christmas!
