The kids had way too much fun taking the Christmas Tree down. We decorated the piano with the ornaments that it was okay for Regan to touch, the fireplace with the really old delicate ones and some of them I put around the house and we played a game of hide and seek.
I tried to make a tree out of lights on the wall- the kids think it is beautiful and I think it looks a little ridiculous. It's a good thing I made the Jewelry Tree which is on the mantel. We have written our letter to Santa so he knows where to leave the presents (he always writes back) and the day holds some fun things ahead. Today marks the 1st day of our 5 day Christmas marathon!
Even though Christmas is on the same day every year, it always seems to sneak up on me in a whirlwind of things to do and activities. And every year it is over just as fast.
