There is that inevitable transition time when you come back from a trip where everyone has to adjust back to real life. I'm still adjusting and it was only 3 days. Let me say that I really enjoy not having to cook and clean. I would love a maid to come into my house and make my bed and tidy the house.
Usually after Christmas I have a hard time putting Christmas things away because I'm not ready for it to be over. Not this year. I think that I am satisfied and I'm ready to put it all away and enjoy it next year. Maybe its because I'm getting older or maybe its because this year may have been the best Christmas season in a long time. Not because we got really cool stuff (we did get some cool stuff) but because we were able to really give this year, our family feels complete with Jack here and we started some amazing traditions (we broke some too). Now to get all this Christmas stuff put away...
