Last day of real office work

So this is it my last day in the office. I'm only a little bit sad about it. I have to come back in to train people and I will still be doing work from home until they solidify the new peoples positions and what not so I won't be gone from this place forever. So I thought I would tell you some of the things I will miss.

  • Luann's comments. Really some of the things that she says just crack me up.
  • My bosses coming to work in the exact same outfits-I'm pretty sure that it has happened more than once but it was a perfect last day present. They also have matching suv's, cowboy boots and cameras. Just to name a few.
  • Lunch dates with Dale. Well lunch by myself too and shopping without the kiddos. Lets face it your brain can actually function when you go without them.
  • Weird therapists coming in with strange smells, hairstyles, oldness and drama. Its fun to watch and listen. Beth's facial expressions in reaction to them-fantastic.
  • Doing a job that has nothing to do with my kids. I get satisfaction out of both but I enjoy doing something and doing it well and completing projects.

And that pretty much sums it up. I won't go into the things that I won't miss because I think it is better to leave that part alone. Nuff said.

I am super excited to be home with my kids. (Dale would not be surprised by the use of the word excited. I think that he thinks its silly or perhaps that I overuse it. Haha but I got the kids to start using it too...win for mom.) Especially when they tell me how happy they are that I won't be going to an office everyday.

But I don't have a plan yet. I think that I may fail without a plan. So thats my plan for this weekend-make a plan! Two of my kids like a set schedule, routine and consistency. Then there is Ellie-she goes with the flow. Lets hope Jack turns out more like her. Although I think he already has his own agenda.

Tomorrow: We're going to Kansas for a wedding. Should be about 7 hrs total in the car. Yes we are crazy. But it should make for an interesting post.
